We have been invited as an artist duo to this year’s Glockenbach Biennale SORRY BELLA in Munich.
And you can participate interactively in our performative project BELLA FIGURA!
In the performative installation BELLA FIGURA, visitors enter an intimate space and become part of an open, radical conversation about bodies and identity.
In this space, an exchange about self-perception and social attributions takes place. BELLA FIGURA asks: Who are you naked in your head? What does your body say when no one is listening? What do we see when we look at ourselves in the mirror? What do we tell our own bodies — and what do we hide from them?
Based on our book ‘Von Höschen und Hoffnung’ (Of Panties and Hope), the film and photography project explores the tensions between social attribution and individual body history.
BELLA FIGURA provides space for confessions, insecurities and the question of who actually owns our own bodies. An invitation to reveal ourselves — not with our bodies, but with what we hide inside them. Memories that are written into our skin. Roles we never chose. What does your body secretly tell you? And who does it actually belong to?

The title ‘SORRY BELLA’ was taken from the artist collective ‘Die Villa,’ which will participate in the Biennale with a performance of the same name.
