From now on, every Saturday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Feelgood FM: In The Sugar Daddys, we open the doors to the nights of yesteryear, the nights of Munich’s nightlife in the 80s and 90s, and bring the charm of the clubs right into your living room.
In each episode, Dr. Feelgood welcomes you with a different guest DJ who, like you, carries the old nights in their heart. Names such as Radi Vidic, Thomas Mahler, Norbert Vossen and Berny Müller take turns at the turntables each week. They select the songs they would have played back then at the legendary Sugar Shack Club (and some of which they still play today). Together with Dr. Feelgood, they present classics, rare gems and new tracks that are at home in the spirit of the club.
It’s not just music that’s played. Stories are told. Anecdotes from backstage, memories of sets, encounters, special evenings, all of this flows into a programme that lingers nostalgically and at the same time arouses curiosity about music that would still sound just as good in the club today. In other words: hits, insider tips, past and present, mixed and presented with dedication and love for the night.
The Sugar Daddys are like an invitation: to return to the dance lights of past decades, with style, heart and the sound that moved us all. Tune in, turn up, dream along. Saturdays 8–10 p.m. on Feelgood FM.
