Marty And The Bad Punch is an internationally renowned studio and recording project led by German guitarist and songwriter Marty Punch (Martin Punsch), which has been thrilling fans of melodic rock and AOR for over a decade.
The project currently consists of experienced musicians – including singer Dan Byrne, guitarist/keyboardist Tommy Denander (Radioactive), bassist Tony Franklin (The Firm) and drummer Josh Devine (One Direction) – and has established itself through collaborations with international stars of the rock scene.
In March 2025, the self-titled third studio album ‘Marty And The Bad Punch’ was released, which is celebrated in professional circles as a highlight of melodic hard rock. The production is characterised by powerful guitars, sophisticated melodies and an international sound that combines classic rock elements with modern AOR influences.
Marty Punch himself describes the new album as a ‘fresh start’ – with a new dynamic line-up and a production that takes the band to a new level. Many fans and critics see the long player as the band’s strongest output to date, with great potential for further international recognition.
The band is known for its rousing melodies, skilful rock arrangements and the distinctive collaboration of renowned musicians, which lend the project a special breadth and quality.
On Saturday at 2 PM CET, Marty will be doing a ‘studio takeover’ at Feelgood.fm.
