Where the music burns and Matuschke ignites.
more than just a radio programme
Three times a week, Feelgood FM lights a very special fire – musical, emotional, sometimes controversial. On Wednesdays and Thursdays from 20:30 to 22:30 and on Saturdays from 19:00 to 22:00, the motto is: Welcome to the ‘Campfire of the Nation’. The host is none other than Matthias Matuschik – Matuschke for short – a man with an opinion, a taste in music and the ability to turn every evening into an experience.
He doesn’t play a standardised playlist, but rather whatever appeals to him at the time: sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes dreamy, sometimes provocative. Whether old favourites or newly discovered gems – when Matuschke plays them, there is always something personal behind them. And between the songs? He fires off a firework display of observations, comments and stories – some private, some political, often razor-sharp and never irrelevant. He dissects current affairs, talks about life and comments on everything that crosses his path. Everything – except a certain Korean boy band, which is consistently kept quiet. And there are reasons for this.
Matuschke is a radio personality that is rarely found today. Unmistakable, spontaneous, with a big mouth but an equally big heart. He has a keen sense for nuances and the ability to tackle even uncomfortable topics in an entertaining and pointed manner – always in his own unique way. He remains credible, approachable and always himself. Not a polished presenter, but a character with rough edges who takes his listeners inside (and outside) seriously – and therefore holds up a mirror to them from time to time.
Das Lagerfeuer der Nation is more than just a radio programme. It is a place for thoughts, conversations, memories – musically supported, eloquently presented. People laugh, philosophise, marvel and dream here. And all live and direct, as if you were sitting by the fire with Matuschke and a drink, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Without a script, without regard for radio conventions – but always with soul.
Feelgood FM brings you the original, three times a week: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 20:30 to 22:30, Saturdays for three hours from 19:00 to 22:00. Switch on, let go – and be there when the nation sits around its campfire.
