Two voices, one soundtrack, zero compromise
sonorous, edgy, consistent, tuesdays
When Tuesday evenings call for a dose of musical friction, The Babies deliver just that – and much more. Susanne and Wolf, a duo with character and a clear opinion, share the microphone, the playlist and the last word. Their show is a musical exchange of blows in which the two take it in turns to take the mike after each song.
Susanne Graue, also known as Stadtlocke, is a journalist, radio presenter and curator of urban perspectives. Her musical compass swings in the direction of electronic soundscapes, indie pop and everything that is new, bold and moving.
Wolf Heider-Sawall, a photographer with a rock background and radio history in his blood, brings analogue energy into the studio. With guitars, groove and the odd unexpected excursion into music history. His experience from Munich’s club and cultural scene makes him the antithesis – and the perfect complement.
At The Babies, there is no pretence to please. Here, people discuss, surprise and sometimes argue, but always with heart, humour and a real understanding of music. Whether it’s a classic or an insider tip, a listener recommendation or a personal favourite, anything goes, nothing has to, as long as it provides something to talk about.
On Tuesdays from 20:30 to 22:30, Susanne and Wolf not only bring their music with them, but also their perspectives, their stories and their style. No fixed concept, but a clear claim: good music, pointed conversations and the honest struggle for the best song at the best time.
