Salzburg, we are on channel 520!
Some things only feel real once they come out of the living room speakers. Since September 1st, Feelgood.fm has been running on the Salzburg AG cable network. Channel 520. No app. No browser. Switch on and turn it up.
For us it is a first. From day one we went out over the internet and nowhere else. Now we are in the cable, right between LoungeFM on 519 and Freies Radio Salzkammergut on 521. Good company.
How do you get there? Most receivers handle it themselves. Switch to another radio channel for a moment and 520 will be in the list. If it is not, a channel scan sorts it out.
And the network goes a long way. CableLink reaches 116 of the 119 municipalities in the province of Salzburg, plus the Mondseeland, the Ausseerland and parts of north-western Styria. Around two thirds of all households in the province can connect. Radio there is fully digital now, as the analogue FM channels on cable were switched off district by district through 2026.
On air, nothing changes. Matuschke still wakes you up from 6 to 9 with “Senile Bettflucht”. Nic von Vogelstein opens Friday lunchtime with “Hi Noon”. MashMike takes over the weekend at 7 pm. No ads. No voice tracking. No AI voices.
